Ministry Leadership Training
OVERVIEW
The Essential Leader Series is the product of 30 years of ministry experience and training. Level I is a series of online courses which include group coaching. Courses are extremely practical and are filled with resources for you to use right away! Level II is an indepth program requiring practical application in the areas of Planning, Organizing, Staffing, & Directing. For those interested in personal mentoring or ministry assessment, guidance and training, an interview can be set up upon successful completion of the Leadership Track.
LEVEL ONE
I. COMMUNICATION & CONFLICT RESOLUTION
This course sets the Biblical basis for a ministry team & covers practical strategies for good communication (to avoid conflict!) as well as redemptive conflict resolution.
II. KNOW YOUR TEAM
This course covers Motivational Spiritual Gifts (Rom 12) and Love Language as they relate to functioning as an effective team within a culture of honor and the valuing of one another's uniqueness
III. GODLY LEADERSHIP
There is a vast difference between being a leader and being in charge. We look at the Biblical qualifications for leadership, types of leaders, what does God require of leaders as stewards of His people. We look at 'Lifestyle Leadership' and the most important responsibility of developing people.
IV. CHAOS-FREE MINISTRY
We will use this text to cover 10 strategies for
creating and maintaining unity in your team.

LEVEL TWO
Upon the successful completion of Level 1, you may apply for this in-depth course which covers PLANNING: The development and implementation of Mission, Vision, Goals, Objectives, Strategic Ministry Plan, Policies, Procedures and the ever popular topic of Budget! ORGANIZING: Organizational Structure, Job Descriptions, Conducting Effective Meetings, Decision-Making and Communication. STAFFING: Recruiting, Screening, Staff Development and Evaluation. DIRECTING: Developing Leaders, Mentoring, Team-Building, Boards and Committees
